For me, it is something that completely disrupts
the way i see the world i live in
my world
the one that i constructed
to make sense of the things that happen around me.
and in the moment of the mindhack
i suddenly see the world differently than i have seen it before.
the world i had built on the foundation of other people stories
crumbled
because in the moment of the mindhack
i saw these stories were not true.
the lies were so easy to believe, they became the truth
and the truth was so hard to believe, i called it a lie.
but the truth is not a lie and the lies are not the truth
the power of a good book is that it offers new ways to see
the same world you have always seen
it mindhacks your belief system,
and questions your reality.
